The commission announced the winner of the competition for the post of head of the Ukrainian institute – the newly created institution, aimed to promote Ukraine abroad and to become a powerful tool of cultural diplomacy. 33 candidates applied for the post.4 candidates reached the final stage.
9 expertsfrom theculture and communication field worked in the competition commission.
Six members of the commission were delegated by representatives of the public, three – by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
TetyanaFilevska, art manager and curator, took the second place in the rating.
The Competition Commission recommended the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Institute to approve the winner for the post of General directorof the Ukrainian Institute.
